When I was growing up, I loved animals, but my parents didn't want any pets in the house. Of course, when I finally moved out, I wanted pets very badly and soon had several! I made many mistakes as a new pet owner, but now, I am the "go to guy" for friends who need pet advice. I really enjoy helping others learn to care for their pets properly, so I decided to start a blog where I could share my pet health and training tips, along with posts about other pet-related topics. I want to start with my first tip, which is to remember that training an animal is always much easier when they are young. While it is not impossible to teach older animals new tricks, helping your dog or cat stop any bad habits when they are young will save you a lot of hassle later!
